Friday Favorites

Funny how fast the weeks are just flying by now that I'll be going back to work in a couple of weeks. Sigh. We've gone from the countdown being a couple of months away to now it being just a couple of weeks away.  Before I know it, it'll be a couple of days away and I'll just be a hot mess. Let's move on before I start crying... Sniff sniff.

Here's my favorites for this Friday!

Fall Weather
 Enjoying the cooler weather!

Amen! Fall weather is finally here.  Well, in the morning at least.  After breakfast on Monday, Elizabeth and I went onto the patio and it was simply glorious. There was far less humidity in the air, a little breeze blew through, and it was just perfect.  So perfect in fact that after we dropped her off at school on Tuesday and Thursday, Katherine and I went for a nice long walk outside! I grabbed a PSL on Tuesday (only because it was a freebie. Who can afford almost $6 for a grande latte... ridic!) and just an iced coffee on Thursday.  Both days the weather was amazing -- Katherine was awake for most of the walk but eventually fell into a cute sleep while I sipped my coffee and took in the gorgeous weather.

Embracing Not Being Perfect
Living in Tampa means that I am a big time Emily Ley fan.  Last year I bought her Simplified Planner and loved it.  I follow her blog and her Instagram page and was super excited last year when she announced that she was writing a book Grace Not Perfection.  Back in August I went onto Amazon and pre-ordered it and Tuesday morning during naptime, the book arrived.  Luckily it was during naptime and I jumped right into reading it.  Literally it's like she is speaking directly to me.  As a mama and a blogger, it's so hard to not get wrapped up in the perfect world that exists on social media.  But Emily Ley gets it -- and I'm glad I'm not one to worry about posting THE perfect picture or planning the most elaborate dinner or decorating our house perfectly for the holidays.  I love living imperfectly -- it's far less stressful. And it's REAL. Not that I'm knocking the women out there who do have the best photos to share every morning on Instagram or those that have beautiful parties or those that appear to live the "perfect" life. I love my imperfect live -- it fits my family perfectly.

Christmas Shopping
With being out of work the past almost seven months, money is tight. And when I say tight.... I mean TIGHT. It's such a blessing that we made it this long living on one paycheck. With that being said, Christmas this year is going to be a lean one. The girls are each getting a couple of outfits, a few books, and a toy or two and that's it.  I'll leave the spoiling up to my parents -- that's what grandparents are for, right?  But for real -- I am such a bargain shopper lately.  I always manage to get the 30% off coupons from Kohl's and end up earning Kohl's cash which results in even more savings.  Earlier this week I literally started and finished my shopping for Elizabeth and I got such good deals. Living on a tight budget does have it's downfalls (like fewer trips to Target), but it doesn't mean that Christmas for Elizabeth and Katherine will be anything less than wonderful!

Ogosport Bolli Ball

A few weeks ago, I was contacted by Ogosport and asked if I wanted to try out their Bolli ball, which is a sensory development ball created for babies. Once I received it, I instantly fell in love -- not only is it BPA free but it's also dishwasher safe.  The ball was created to help babies with stretching, manipulating and grasping. A bonus? It can be thrown in the freezer and is perfect for teething!  Katherine absolutely loves it because it's so flexible.  At one point I think she flung it across the room which resulted in her giggling.  You can purchase the balls from the Ogosport website -- check them out! They have lots of other products to offer too!

Katherine's Finished Nursery
Good things come to those who wait and that's my mantra for being so delayed in finishing Katherine's nursery. I knew I wanted to keep the Peter Rabbit theme that we had for Elizabeth but I wasn't sure which direction I wanted to go in.  Last week while my mother was in town, we were walking around Home Goods and all the ideas started coming to me. So for under $75, we were able to finish Katherine's room and it is just perfect!  I plan on doing a post about it soon, but if you follow me on Instagram, this was the picture I posted!

I hope you have a wonderful weekend with those you love!

* Ogosport provided the Bolli ball in exchange for a 100% honest opinion and review from me.  I choose to only work with companies that I believe in.

  4. I too embrace the imperfections. Its hard being a mom, sometimes you need to let loose and wing it. Love the Ogosport ball. I have a teething 6 month old who needs one of those!

  8. That book sounds great. I'm a big fan of celebrating life as it is, and not making ourselves crazy trying to be perfect (which I struggle with).

  11. I and my man decided to go our separate ways without taking into account the practicalities or even try to save the relationship together. Though we tried separating counselling to amend our errors and also have a final decision if we are going to breakup, but it didn’t work as expected to get closure and plan better for our future and marriage. We keep having different values and goals, lack of trust towards each other, issues with lack of communication and different sexual needs before breaking up thinking it will do us any good. I was mostly affected because I gave him my heart for over 6years and we are soul mate, I never stop thinking about him for 8months until I realized I needed an extra power or spiritual support to win him over again and make him see reasons why am the right woman for him.
So that’s when I ordered the services of Dr. Wakina love spell via (dr.wakinalovetemple@gmail.com). It was fruitful at the end after a consistent spell work that lasted for 5days. My lover was finally mine on the 7th. Now our marriage is around the corner, I have never felt love like this before. Thank you Dr. Wakina (dr.wakinalovetemple@gmail.com), I will forever be grateful for the extraordinary spell.

  15. Getting ex boyfriend back after a breakup,
I’m extremely happy that will are living together again.
Am Maria 21yr from England, my boyfriend of a 4yr just broke up with me and am 30 weeks pregnant.I have cried my self to sleep most of the nights and don’t seem to concentrate during lectures sometimes I stay awake almost all night thinking about him and start to cry all over again.Because of this I end up not having energy for my next day’s classes ,my attendance has dropped and am always in uni and on time.Generally he is a very nice guy ,he ended it because he said we were arguing a lot and not getting along. He is right we’ve been arguing during the pregnancy a lot .After the break up I kept ringing him and telling him I will change.I am in love with this guy and he is the best guy I have ever been with.I’m still hurt and in disbelief when he said he didn’t have any romantic feelings towards me anymore that hurt me faster than a lethal syringe. He texts me now and then mainly to check up on how am doing with the pregnancy,he is supportive with it but it’s not fair on me, him texting me as I just want to grieve the pain and not have any stress due to the pregnancy.i was really upset and i needed help, so i searched for help online and I came across a website that suggested that Dr Unity can help solve marital problems, restore broken relationships and so on. So, I felt I should give him a try. I contacted him and he told me what to do and i did it then he did a spell for me. 28 hours later, my bf came to me and apologized for the wrongs he did and promise never to do it again. Ever since then, everything has returned back to normal. I and my bf are living together happily again.. All thanks to Dr Unity. If you have any problem contact Dr.Unity now and i guarantee you that he will help you.Email him at: Unityspelltemple@gmail.com ,you can also call him or add him on whats-app: +2348071622464.

  16. Excited my life is back My husband and I have been together for almost 11 years in October. The way we met wasn’t the best way since we both had relationships. We ended our relationships to be together (or so I thought we BOTH did). As soon as I ended up pregnant with our first baby, I find out he was cheating with his EX! My world went upside down. It was very hard for me since I was pregnant and hurt. Over the years I just kept forgiving him over and over again of not only multiple affairs, but of his accusations of me being unfaithful and disrespecting me. We now have 3 kids and I just completely felt neglected and felt low of myself. I had my own affair… It has not been easy for BOTH of us to overcome. Somehow over the last few weeks we have been working together to move on. We are now moving out of state. I love my husband and I am positive he loves me. I am going to try and show him this approach. Somehow we were already doing it! We have a better communication than we’ve had in years! We are learning how to speak calmly out feelings and concerns. It hasn’t been peachy, but I can see that we both are starting to respect eachother. We care for each other’s feelings. We have US a main priority. We aren’t taking counseling, but somehow we see that little by little we seem more comfortable with eachother. Sometimes we may notice how good it is going and may step back, but helping eachother out by holding and saying it’s ok to be happy again. I love my family. and my husband and i need to keep my marriage save with him from other women so i have to seek for a love spell to keep our marriage stronger so i contacted Dr happy who help me to keep my marriage save and secure from other women am very happy today coz my husband love me more and more like ever before, we are living as one big family again bless Dr happy for what he did to me and my husband if you need help contact him too he is real and 100% guarantee ok so email him at : happylovespell2@gmail.com call +2348133873774 about his service and web site: http://happyspelltemple.webs.com/
